Spanish retailer Mango have today announced actress Scarlett Johansson as the face of their new winter 2009-10 advertising campaign.
No novice to the world of high calibre campaigns, we’ve seen her as a bubbly blonde for Moet & Chandon, channelling Marilyn Monroe for Dolce & Gabanna, posing seductively with a plethora of Louis Vuitton bags as well as modelling her curvaceous frame in Calvin Klein’s lingerie.
The actress is taking over the reigns from former Mango ambassador Penelope Cruz. But there’s no animosity between these two – the girls became firm friends while filming Woody Allen’s film Vicki Christina Barcelona back in 2008.
“We chose the beautiful actress as the image for the campaign for her extraordinary personality, which embodies the ideal of the urban, enterprising, daring woman that we target” said a Mango spokesperson.
Scarlett’s hair was styled by well-known celebrity hairstylist Bob Recine and her sexy pin-up make-up look was done by world leading make-up artist Aaron de Mey – who counts New Zealand as home.
