'Ear jobs' are newest surgery trend

When it comes to revealing your age, it seems the ears have it.

Apparently, saggy earlobes are just as bad as 'turkey neck' or a droopy chin for those who wish to stay forever youthful.

According to the UK's Daily Mail, The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery even featured a presentation on earlobe correction at their recent conference.

According to many of the surgeons interviewed by the paper, the culprit is often heavy, dangling earrings (as seen above on Kris Jenner), which leave women with stretched, flabby-looking earlobes. New cosmetic procedures can remedy the problem with a quick cut and trim of the tissue under local anesthetic, leaving almost no scar.

An ear overhaul can also be inlcuded as part of more major surgery. Says Christopher Inglefield, of London Bridge Plastic Surgery:

"When I am doing a facelift, I usually graft a bit of fat into the earlobe to give it a more youthful look."
