What’s in a name? Well quite a lot if you are in the fragrance biz it seems. Fashion label Abercrombie & Fitch are reportedly pursuing legal action against pop diva Beyonce over the launch of her new perfume Sasha Fierce set to launch next year.
The US company’s signature scent Fierce that hit stores in 2002 is thought to have made more than $200k and their worry being that the singer’s similarly named product will throw the masses into confusion.
While the legal papers have only just been filed, we are dubious about the impact this apparently worrying launch would actually have on their profits.
