I had a special treat today

, Prev Next Had a special treat today — a sleep in!

At Ann Demeulemeester, Rudi Kramers created a melancholy make-up in a cool palette of greys, mauves and lavender. The clothing and hair gave a richly textured rustic rendering.

Both boys and girls wore the same make-up. Paler shades of MAC Mineralized Satin Foundation were applied with white foundation to create luminous coolness through the centre of the face. MAC Velour, Satin Taupe, Era and Carbon eyeshadows were gently applied on the inner corner of the upper eye area, giving the impression that the weight of the world was in their eyes, and a mauve-coloured blush was custom-made using MAC Loose Blot Powder in Violet, Shale and Velour eyeshadow. Lips were patted with a mix of MAC Twig and Myth lipstick, giving a bloodless wintery aura.

Another early night tonight as getting ready for the Alexander McQueen show make-up test tomorrow and I'll need all my wits and make-up knowledge about me ...

Bon nuit!

Why do designers put fancy makeup on the male models? It's not like any man is going to wear it....... Would't that be a waste of time for you guys? I know the girls make up isn't alwasy exactly what you'd wear down the street, but at least it has an element of reallity. I don'tknow many blokes who'd even attempt some liner or shadow or lippy..... hahaha
nic!!! yay i love love love the blog! "weight of the world in their eyes"....love that as well..may steal it! .x.
