The most anticipated show of the week

, Prev Next One of the most anticipated shows of the week, Alexander McQueen, proved to be a real highlight. Key make-up artist Peter Philips designed two looks that were all about make- up perfection. The theme for the make-up was Queen Victoria — the brunettes sported a more Victorian gothic feeling with an accent on the brow: a sweep of eye shadow applied with a wet brush creating a sheer squared-off brow. The blondes wore make-up depicting the purity of the Victorian era: skin perfected using the new MAC sculpt Sculpt and shape Shape foundation highlighted with the shimmering MAC Pro Loose Beauty Powders. Lips were made a little bloodless with a small amount of concealer on the lips. Eyes remained neutral on both the blondes and brunettes; no mascara was needed and a little highlight of a vanilla and taupe taupe-coloured shimmer was added to complete the innocence of the look.

The clothes were stunning — short crinoline style dresses and russian Russian military military-style coats worn with flat jewelled tukish Turkish slippers.

As always at McQueen shows the adrenalin was rushing and we all went home absoluetely exhausted but very fullfilled.
