Let's face it, putting on sunscreen isn't as much fun as doing your hair or make-up. That's why we're thankful these brands got a little creative when it came helping us avoid harmful sun rays.
1. Dermalogica Solar Defense Wipes SPF 15, $31
So you were about to head out the door when you realised you forgot to slip, slop, slap your arms and legs? Stepping into the sun without sunscreen is a no-no, but trying to put it on without it getting on your clothes is more of a challenge than keeping Britney Spears on the straight and narrow. The answer? SPF wipes. They're not greasy, won't get product all over your new Witchery top, and dry in seconds.
2. Olay Touch of Sun Daily UV Facial Moisturiser SPF 15, $15.99
A three-in-one for the super-busy mums and workaholics out there. Olay Touch of Sun isn't just a gradual tanner. Oh no. It's a gradual tanner-slash-moisturiser-slash-SPF, meaning you can save valuable time getting ready in the morning. Available in light and dark, and in a body lotion too.
3. Jan Marini Skin Research Bioglycolic Sunless Self-Tanner, $52
Problem: You love fake-tan, but hate the fact that one use of your favourite AHA makes it disappear faster than your money in a shoe shop. Solution: Use a faux tanner with a little built-in AHA. JM says the glycolic acid in this beauty ensures better penetration of the skin, decreasing the time necessary for colour to appear, while also lengthening the wearability before another application is needed. We're happy, Jan.
4. Le Tan SPF 30+ Aerosol, $15.99
If you're not a fan of sticky hands, here's your SPF lifesaver: it's as simple as shaking and spraying. The downside? There's no longer an excuse to ask sexy boys at the beach to rub sunscreen on your back. Contains aloe vera and vitamin E, and is water resistant for four hours.
