Zoe Saldana has become best known for her performance as the 3m-tall Na'vi warrior princess Neytiri in the blockbuster Avatar, but she's also appeared in the hit films Centre Stage and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Now, the Pandora-blue-skinned screen siren has just been named the new face of Avon's newest fragrance: Eternal Magic.
"It means so much to me to be associated with a company that shares my values and believes in empowering women," Zoe said in a media release.
Zoe will also appear in Avon's brochure as a face of the company's cosmetics collection, following Avon ambassadors Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Hudson.
"We are thrilled to have Zoe as the spokesperson for Eternal Magic," Avon's senior vice-president, Geralyn Breig, said of Saldana's appointment.
"Every woman wants to be unforgettable and Zoe perfectly embodies that feeling. She's a rising star in Hollywood — and has built a strong reputation for playing empowering characters that leave a lasting impression."
Here's hoping the 31-year-old star won't need any Pandora-blue hues of make-up for Avon the shoot.
