A myriad of short pixie-style hairstyles are making a beauty movement on the A-list and the latest celebrity to shear off her locks is Harry Potter starlet Emma Watson.
Channeling iconic '60s model Twiggy, Watson is among few who've managed to make the chop work. Okay, so she may not have the 32-22-32 body measurements, but she certainly does bare a striking resemblance to the iconic model and pulls off her trendsetting look. We love it!
In recent months we've seen screen siren Cate Blanchett brave the snip, along with Shutter Island star Michelle Williams.
Watson has made her mark as a fashion icon since gracing the big screen as Hermione Granger by stepping out in couture fashions from Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Christian Dior, and featured in two campaigns for British label Burberry. Now, the style-savvy star is making headlines in the beauty world with her new short 'do.
Posting the news and this gorgeous picture on Facebook, Emma said, "I cut my hair off a few days ago ... feels incredible. I love it. I've wanted to do this for years and years; it's the most liberating thing ever. Hope you like."
But has the new 'do forced Burberry to cut Watson from fronting the brand? Watson is no longer the queen of check and has been replaced by Victoria's Secret model, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
"Emma is a big part of the Burberry family and is also a wonderful friend … I have huge admiration for her, both personally and professionally, and everything she's achieved," Burberry's chief creative director, Christopher Bailey, said in a release.
