Colours are an easy and wonderful way of showing off your personality and mood. Your choice of outfit is an obvious indicator, but have you ever considered what your lipstick colour says about you?

Soft pink:
This pretty pastel is very feminine, and the wearer lives for love. The colour is soft and say's you're fun and gentle. But be careful to avoid wearing a bubble-gum shade in a professional setting, as this may suggest you're trying to be younger than you are and inexperienced. Typically speaking, it's suited to younger women.
Nude or neutral:
Nude is the perfect colour for a professional who knows what she wants. Because the colour isn't imposing, the wearer appears approachable and mature. Be careful not to add too much gloss to the colour as the shade is supposed to be subtle and refined.
Plum:
There's something mysterious about plum-coloured lips. While not as bold as a red lip, there's something very sultry about a deep berry colour, making it perfect for night. Plums suit darker skin-tones.
Red:
This colour is not for the faint hearted. Passion and power have always been associated with the bold red, so play the part. Exude confidence and mark a special occasion or a night on the town with the gals.
Coral oranges and tangerine:
Like red, coral colours stands out, but in a different way. You're enthusiastic, playful and a little bit cheeky. You know how to have fun and coral adds a little punch to your outfit.
