Discover smooth skin

1 Bubble Over
Shower or bathe before you shave. Although women’s hair is finer than men’s, it’s still as tough as copper wire of the same thickness. However, hydrating hair with warm water makes it up to 60 percent easier to cut. However it is possible to soak too much, after 15 or 20 minutes water causes your skin to wrinkle and swell slightly, resulting in a shave that’s not as close as you’d like.

2 Gelicious
Wash your legs and underarms to remove natural oils and perspiration. Apply an ample amount of moisture– rich shave gel before shaving to help keep water in the hair and to ensure the razor glides easily over skin. Gillette Satin Care for Women shave gel is a good option to keep your skin feeling soft and smooth. Don’t rely on soap to prepare skin for shaving – it may clog the razor. In addition, many soaps cause dryness and flaking.

Choose Wisely
Choose a razor that is properly equipped for the job. Gillette offers a complete portfolio of razors to meet every woman’s shaving needs. Gillette’s Venus Vibrance with Soothing Vibrations, the first power wet shaving system for women, provides a close shave and has Gillette’s most advanced Comfort-Coated blades and an ergonomically designed handle. It gently exfoliates to instantly reveal more radiant skin. In addition, the new Moisture Glide Strips release more lubricants per shave than any Venus cartridge for a gentle glide and a smooth shave.

Look Sharp Shave with a fresh blade.
Fresh blades provide a closer, smoother, more comfortable shave and can help prevent cuts and irritation. Women should replace blades at the first sign of dullness or discomfort.

5 Smooth Sailing.
Use a light touch, exerting as little pressure as possible, and shave in the direction that feels most comfortable. Re-lather before shaving the bikini and other sensitive areas.

6 Leave Hard-to-Shave Spots for Last
The backs of knees and thighs, and areas like ankles, where the bone is close to the skin surface, are often difficult to shave. However, all Venus razors feature an oval-shaped cartridge that maximises maneuverability in and around these hard-to-shave areas. Another way to make the job easier is by letting these areas soak in shave gel as long as possible.

7 Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise
Moisturising your legs helps keeps skin hydrated and supple, not to mention glowing. When you have finished shaving, apply a rich moisturiser. Then go out on the town and show off your smooth and radiant legs.
