Die-hard Elvis fans take note: a clump of the legend's hair is going under the hammer in Chicago on October 18, 2009.
Now, there's no need to rush out and get a plane ticket unless you've got US$12,000 ($13,280) to spare, that is. That's how much the King of Rock'n'Roll's locks are expected to sell for, the UK's NME magazine reported.
But we're guessing with all those keen pink Cadillac lovers out there the strands will sell for a lot more, seeing as back in 2002 a jar of the singer's hair sold for US$115,000 ($127,000).
NME also reported that the locks were snipped by a friend of Elvis' in 1958 after Presley enlisted in the US Army. Creepy!
So, how much you pay for get your mitts on a piece of Elvis' hair?
