Olay Regenerist Thermal Skin Polisher

Tuesday, April 1, 2008
Road test: Olay Regenerist Thermal Skin Polisher.

Aim: Using micro-crystals and glycolic acid, the product promises to deliver skin benefits comparable to a professional mini-peel treatment after only 10 days. The brand also claims it's gentle enough to use every day.

What happens: Start by wetting your face thoroughly and rubbing some of the product between your wet hands before patting evenly on your face, avoiding the eye and lip area. You'll feel a warming sensation as the product reacts with water. Gently massage the Thermal Skin Polisher using the pad of your fingers to move the micro-granules across the skin. Start on your forehead, concentrate on any deep-lined areas and move your fingers in small circular motions. Once complete, wash the face with warm water to move the product and dead skin. Pat the skin dry with a clean towel.

Cost: $19.99

The bottom line: "I was a little sceptical about using the granules on my skin, but it actually feels really gentle. The warming sensation is lovely, and my skin feels polished rather than scrubbed! I even had a colleague comment on how good my skin is looking. I love how easy it is to use, especially as I'm a busy, working mum." — Kate, 34
