Estée Lauder TurboLash All Effects Motion Mascara
The old "wiggle from root to tip" trick? It's so last year ...

Vibrating mascara! What next?!

Tuesday, July 21, 2009
Road test: Estée Lauder TurboLash All Effects Motion Mascara.

Aim: To deliver the affects of volume, length, definition, separation and curl all in one, using a formula and brush design that the brand claims offers a micropulsing effect that allows the brush to penetrate deep into the lash bed and comb through the lashes more quickly and effectively. Estée Lauder also claims that as the brush gently works its way through, it separates and saturates the lashes with the formula from root to tip.

What happens: As with any mascara, it's as simple as taking the lid off and applying. The vibrating brush is automatically powered when the cap is twisted to unscrew the brush wand, likewise when the cap is replaced the vibrating stops.

Cost: $60.

The bottom line: "At first I thought this was a bit gimmicky, and as a test applied it to only one eye. I was surprised at the huge difference it made; my lashes definitely looked longer and more glamorous — I could really see the difference!" — Nadia, 33.
