Sky Nellor's favourites

Monday, August 18, 2008
Sky Nellor Model-turned-DJ Sky Nellor is a fixture on the global party circuit. She's worked in the coolest clubs in LA, and deejayed at private gigs for Fergie, Kanye West and Missy Elliot. We asked the mixmaster to the stars what her four all-time favourite beauty products are.

1. Napoleon Perdis Auto Pilot Pre-Foundation Primer, $48
It's been years since make-up master Napoleon Perdis uttered the words, "Not to prime is a crime," and it seems women everywhere listened, including Nellor. "[This product's] amazing, it just helps my make-up look flawless and last, even after sweating it out in the DJ booth for hours!"

2. Steven Victor MD Miracle Serum, $225
When your job requires you to be awake during sleeping time and sleeping during awake time, and jumping on planes to get from one cool party to the next, it's to be expected your skin may look a little tired. Nellor says she fixes this problem with Steven Victor MD Miracle Serum. "It's my little miracle in a bottle. It repairs and protects my skin and helps it recover from late nights and long flights."

3. Napoleon Perdis Gardenia Glam Shimmering Body Lotion (as part of pack), $35
"The amazing thing about Sky is that she's often the most gorgeous creature in the room," says Perdis of the in-demand-music gal. And part of Nellor's secret is her love of Napoleon's Gardenia Glam Shimmering Body Lotion. "There is no other body cream like this!," she exclaims. "It smells amazing and leaves the most beautiful sheen on my skin."

4. Frédéric Fekkai Glossing Cream, $47
When you've appeared on the cover of Spanish Vogue, as well as in Guess campaigns, it's no secret you know a thing or two about keeping your hair in top condition, which is why Nellor goes ga-ga for Frédéric Fekkai Glossing Cream. "My unruly hair lives for this product especially when I'm working in a humid city, like Miami. [It's great] to control the frizzies!"
