Make-up artist Mary Greenwell's done the faces of Brooke Shields, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford, Uma Thurman, Cate Blanchett, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bündchen, just to name a few. So we were simply busting at the seams to find out which beauty products she recommends, and we know you are too.
1. Suqqu Cream Foundation
You may not be able to pop down to Target to buy this product, but after reading what Greenwell says about it you'll be booking the next available flight to Asia. "[Suqqu is a] make-up line from Japan. It is [for Japan] what Chanel is to France, and Armani is to Italy," she says. "[It has] incredibly chic packaging with very high quality product. The foundation looks fresh and lasts all day."
2. Elizabeth Arden Smoky Eyes Powder Pencil in Espresso, $35
For the best eye pencil around, Greenwell's pick is this little number by the team at Elizabeth Arden. "It's the softest, most long-lasting of all in a fabulous deep brown." Run, don't walk to the nearest EA counter for yours.
3. Olay Definity Tone Correcting Anti-Ageing Foaming Moisturiser SPF 15, $39.99
"I've never seen anything quite like this product before. There's nothing like it on the market," says Greenwell, who loves to use it as a skin primer before applying her celebrity clients' make-up. "It's so easy to use, you only need one pump as a little goes a long way. It foams in your hand and then, on application it just 'melts' into the skin leaving you with the perfect glowing canvas".
4. Dior SkinFlash, $67
Every woman knows the secret to faking bright, alert and wide-awake eyes is with a concealer that'll illuminate as well as wipe the years away. In Mary's books, this luxe buy from Dior should be at the top of your must-have list. "It really does lift the entire eye area," claims Greenwell. And with that, we'll take two, thanks.
