Want to do your bit for charity and look good at the same time? These four beauty brands have made it possible, thanks to their financial support for finding a cure for breast cancer.
1. Palmer's range, from $6.95
During September and October, Palmer's sleek new bottle is turning pink for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Last year the brand raised a whopping $30,000 and hopes to exceed that target this year. They'll be doing their bit by donating 30 cents from every bottle sold.
2. GHD IV Pink Kiss Styler, $325
Every woman knows that for poker-straight locks or straightening-iron-created waves it's as simple as picking up a GHD. This year, the brand's brought out a limited-edition styler, which comes with three lip glosses and pink mirrored case for on-the-go beauty. Grab yours and know that $30 from each sale will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).
3. Palmolive range
For every Palmolive personal care product purchased from participating stores, Palmolive will donate five cents to contribute towards their donation goal of $100,000. Take your pick from these bargain-priced pink beauty goodies and help find a cure: Intensive Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner, Intense Hydration Shower Cream, Pink Grapefruit Splash Shower Gel and Liquid Hand Wash all from $2.99.
4. OPI Pink of Hearts 2008, $19.95
This year marks OPI's third year as a sponsor of the NBCF Pink Ribbon Campaign. Last year's sales from the Pink of Hearts lacquer raised more than $25,000. Turn your talons pink with this product and feel confident knowing 100 percent of the profits are being donated.
