Anne Hathaway has been dubbed Hollywood's new sweetheart, has been compared to Julia Roberts and is set to be one of highest-paid actresses around. And it's not hard to see why.
Eternally chirpy, she always seems to have a smile for the cameras, is never snapped looking glassy eyed in the early hours partying, and has a simple but chic fashion style. Basically, she oozes "girl next door done good".
But the butter-wouldn't-melt star gave onlookers a bit of a surprise at the New York Met Costume Ball last week when she appeared to have a Sandra Olsson moment. Gone was the play-it-safe facade and in she walked with va-va-voom hair, thigh-skimming mini and sultry smoky eyes.
Don't get us wrong, it wasn't a bad beauty look; only, we couldn't work out if it was, er, good either.
